这首歌是97年Puff Daddy（吹牛老爹）写来纪念他死去的好友Notorious B.I.G，友情至上，很感人。失去挚友和左右手，Puff极度沮丧，他休息了大半年后重新投入工作，完成了B.I.G.只做了一半的专辑"Hell Up In Harlem"，并改名为"No Way Out"意为没有出路，以抒发他丧友之痛。 "I'll Be Missing You"(我会想念你)即来自此专辑，是Puff为了纪念B.I.G.而作的，还请B.I.G.遗孀Faith Evans作背景和声，甚是感伤。
